A Holiday Thank You and Recipes for the Season

As a small gift of gratitude, I’ve included a link to my three most requested family recipes.

As we approach the holiday season and the new year, I want to thank each of you for reading, sharing my work, and being part of this growing community. It means more than I can say that you stop for a moment each Tuesday morning to spend time with my writing.

This season holds countless emotions all at once. It is a time of joy and celebration for many, but it can also be a season of grief and loneliness for others. In the midst of our busyness, familiar traditions, and full calendars, I hope we remember to look for small ways to bring comfort, patience, and kindness to those who may be struggling quietly.

As a small holiday thank you, I’m sharing the three family recipes readers ask for most. You’ll find them all at the link below.

The coconut cake and divinity have been part of our family for years. High Class Trash—our version of Chex Mix—is a more recent creation, but it’s already being shared around the country, one gathering at a time. These are recipes meant to be passed along, not perfected.

I hope they bring a little joy to your table, whether you’re hosting a crowd or keeping things simple this year. From my family (including Gabby!) to yours, I wish you a blessed and joyous holiday season, regardless of your faith tradition: the happiest and safest Hanukkah, the happiest and safest Christmas, and a peaceful New Year.
